Milestones

Milestones are used to document significant partial completion events in the course of a project. Each milestone belongs to a parent project.

Scope

Milestones are intended to represent a specific point in the timeline of a project, such as the completion of a significant design review, a major sub-system, or a major design iteration.

Milestones share functionality with the project entity, but are intended to represent a smaller, more specific body of work.

Milestones can be assigned a title and a due date, and tasks within the same project can then be allocated to that milestone. This allows you to track the progress of tasks against both the specific milestone and the parent project.
