User Types

User types are used to control access to workspace functionality.

The Anneal system currently supports four user types:

  • Admin: Full access to all workspace functionality, including workspace management.
  • Manager: Full access to all workspace functionality, excluding workspace management.
  • Engineer: Full access to all workspace functionality, excluding workspace management.
  • Observer: Read-only access to the workspace.

Manager and Engineer roles differ only in their ability to approve work items (tasks and faults) at different levels of seniority.
